We just had a shower
The blind squirrel found a nut! The Canadian model actually outperformed the other models in calling for rain today. That being said, the main precip will stay to the south and east of the Ottawa region.

Winter idea
I misspoke last Friday regarding which years this coming winter will be most like, similar but not the same. What I had meant to write was '76/'77 AND '77/'78.

Saturday's rain, redux
Anybody notice whats happening with Env. Can's forecast for Saturday today? This morning they had a 40% chance of showers for Saturday. Moving in the right direction from yesterday. But now they have: Saturday: Periods of rain. High 8.
Look for it to change to little or no rain on Saturday as everybody else is less bullish on pushing rain in our region from the remnents of Ida that is coming up the eash coast.
